Emric AB from Sweden capitalizes on offshore opportunities through Nagarro Software

Emric AB has decided to further develop its offshore activities following successfully executing projects with its offshore Indian partner, Nagarro Software. Emric’s clients are banks and lenders located in Sweden and other Nordic countries and it is now noticing an increasing demand for its high quality products and services. “The collaboration with Nagarro Software has provided us with greater flexibility and an opportunity to reduce the total project cost for our customers”, says Joakim Dahlgren, Acting President at Emric.
Emric offers its customers business expertise and system support for the various stages in credit assessment. To increase its competitiveness, the company decided three years ago to outsource and offshore key projects. Emric subsequently acquired new business delivering larger projects at lower cost delivered through its carefully evaluated Indian IT provider, Nagarro Software.
“Our decision, investment and partnership proved profitable. Indian IT consultants are renowned for their capability and competence. Emric recognized soon that they are at the forefront of new technologies that often companies in Sweden don’t have time to implement and utilize. Continued focus on offshore
Through Nagarro, Emric has gained increased flexibility and enhanced control mechanisms for its product development as operations adjusted according to on-going parallel project currently untaken. The lower project developing costs also places Emric in a more competitive position in the procurement of new credit systems.
“We are pleased to have taken us through the financial crisis without seeing any major damage. We now look forward and have already noticed among our customers that the business cycle has turned. The collaboration with Emric has opened up the market for Nagarro in Sweden. Furthermore, the successful experiences from Germany and other Nordic countries demonstrate the company’s excellent ability to bridge cultural differences.
Emric’s positive experience in offshore development is further based on the fact that internally allocated resources works closely with Nagarro Software, and that project reconciliations occur very frequent.
