With 'Fusion of Ideas and Cultures' as theme, Nagarro Nordics invited customers, partners, onsite colleagues and their families at their Stockholm office to an evening of fun, food and fireworks to celebrate Diwali. The Indian Embassy was also represented at the event by Mr. Vijay Kumar, the First Secretary to the Ambassador.
Joydeep Dash made the opening introductions, followed by an interesting talk from Dr. Manas Fuloria, MD Nagarro, on his personal journey across various cultures and how Nagarro is being shaped by a blend of cultures and languages. He also talked about ways in which he has been deeply motivated by the Nordics, especially in the area of sustainable transport systems.
Highlight of the evening was a performance by Ms. Ulrika Larsen, an eminent Odissi dancer of Swedish origin. Her dance, a result of weeks of preparation, told the story of Nagarro’s journey and aspirations. Celebrated Indian chef Dheeraj Singh shared the journey of Indian spices to the Swedish kitchen.
Fireworks and some pulsating Bollywood music rounded up this engaging celebration of cultural fusion.
