Gurgaon, 10 September, 2016 - Nagarro collaborated with Salesforce New Delhi developer user group and Salesforce to launch the first ever Trailheadathon. This event was the first of its kind for both Nagarro and Salesforce and was a huge success with 60+ participants coming from places all across India - Pune, Chandigarh, Vizianagaram, Noida, Gurgaon, Delhi and Jaipur. Those who could not make it to Nagarro’s Gurgaon office participated online as Salesforce MVPs (most valued professionals) - Ankit Arora, Abhinav Gupta, Vinay Chaturvedi and Gaurav Kheterpal shared their valuable insights about their journey through the Salesforce ecosystem.
The event kicked off at 9 AM IST with Chris Duarte, Editor in Chief of Trailhead at Salesforce and Regina Walton, Program Manager - Marketing Events at Salesforce and Rajdeep Dua, Director Developer Relations at Salesforce gracing the occasion with their presence. Naga Kiran Manyala, Developer and Advocate from Salesforce also ensured his presence at the event making it a complete all round success. Three Salesforce enthusiasts - students from MVGR college of engineering, Vizianagaram, who have already completed more than 100+ badges and all 4 super badges also participated in this event to lend their support to the participants. A surprise awaited the participants who joined this event as they were offered “SUPERBADGES”, the Trailheadathon was now a race to complete superbadges and not badges only.
First superbadge completion announcement came at around 12:30 PM by Rachit Parnami from Nagarro followed by Nimisha Bhatnagar from Nagarro after 30 minutes who also happens to be the Women in Technology leader for Jaipur. The race to trailhead badges was heating up with the leader board constantly being updated to keep track of the participant’s progress. Fun Trivia sessions were organized as well by Atul Gupta, New Delhi Salesforce Developer group leader who also pioneered the idea of Trailheadathon.
