Malta, November 27, 2018: Nagarro, the global services arm of the Munich-based Allgeier SE group, has opened its IT services and customer support center in Malta. With this new center in Malta, Nagarro is positioned to assist European customers even better – whether supporting iGaming leaders for their technology needs or ramping up the customer service teams (AMS) from Malta for support across EU. Nagarro’s expanded Malta presence will also aid in keeping pace with new regulatory developments and leveraging growing opportunities in the region, e.g., the emergence of Malta as a leading DLT destination.
Nagarro’s state of the art support center – with high security and super-fast internet connectivity for 24/7 support – is strategically located in Valetta. Aptly it’s being flagged off by Hon. Parliamentary Secretary for Financial Services, Digital Economy and Innovation, Silvio Schembri, whose office backs the economy with a crucial fast track program to bring in IT experts to address the skill gap in Malta.
Schembri said that the way Malta’s digital economy is evolving at such a rapid pace, companies like Nagarro will continue to grow and expand. Schembri reiterated the Maltese Government’s political will to navigate into unchartered waters and explore new economic niches leading to a complete ecosystem.
Nagarro is among the first international technology companies to test out Malta’s new “fast track” work permit processing, which triggers an early response to bridge the skill gap that is slowing the growth of several industries in Malta.
