This course is an accredited training, designed to prepare candidates for the ISTQB® Certified Tester – Foundation Level exam. It gives an understanding of the typical activities, methods, and techniques in software testing. The course is an accredited training, designed to prepare for the ISTQB® Certified Tester – Advanced Level Specialist exam. It provides a detailed insight into the methods and techniques required for a strategic test automation set up. Starting with the basic groundwork activities and the definition of a sustainable architecture, test automation is developed in a step-wise manner. Operational and maintenance aspects have also been covered to ensure a comprehensive understanding of test automation. Supplementary aspects like automated reporting and the selection of relevant metrics complete the topic. Additional emphasis has been put on the structured transition of existing manual tests into an automated solution.
