Christina Tsialis: The River and Calypso’s Island II
Pictures and words, painting and literature: When I paint, I think of stories and when I write, I think of pictures. Both are dear to my heart, and I have studied both with great curiosity. Through my art, I seek to create a dialogue with others as well as within myself. I wish to gain access to that magical room of my fantasies, to linger there and await the arrival of my guests. This ever-changing room is sometimes small, warm and full of color, and other times, vast and cold with transparent walls surrounded by a dark sky. There, surrounded by the tones and colors of music composed by Debussy, Ravel and Mahler, I meet flowing, flying, dancing human forms, who spring from the poetry and symbolism of ancient Greek myths, the fairy tales of Hans Christian Andersen, or the magic in my very own life. Their thoughts and feelings are guiding my hand.
We are pleased to announce that the next Nagarro Art Forum exhibition will feature the work of artist Christina Tsialis. Ms. Tsialis’s work will be on display in the Vienna office from February 21 through September 2017.
