As an agile company, Nagarro is fast evolving into a real global organization in two ways. On the one hand, we have an increasing number of customers located and operating around the globe. On the other, our own organization is growing rapidly internationally. However, we find that the challenges we face both internally with our colleagues and externally with customers are the same.
To work and act at a global level means that you have to manage different languages and time zones. That’s the easy bit. We are after all a flexible and agile company, right? But the really challenging and equally exciting part is managing the human factor. People in a global company coming from different cultures and exhibiting different behaviors.
We also interact with customers from all over the world. As a provider of specifically tailored solutions to our customers, the interaction between us and the customer forms a large part of what we do. Besides all the technical challenges we find in each and every IT-Project (the salt in the soup for every Software Engineer), we have to create an environment that allows us to set up teams with the best colleagues from our several international delivery centers. Basically, fulfill the requirements and expectations of our customer by finding and selecting the right people for the job, irrespective of their location.
Of course, to create and manage such an environment you need colleagues with a certain level of maturity and an open mind. Those who are curious and eager to see and learn more about the world. And that is the essence of our daily work at Nagarro. The global structure within Nagarro as well as at the frequent interactions we have with our customers allows us the opportunity to offer our colleagues a wide range of career paths to develop themselves in the medium to long term.
So if you ask what it means to be part of a truly global company? I would simply say – an opportunity to work with people from around the globe and a chance to explore the world around you. That is the essence of a real global company – a company like Nagarro.
