Dr. Marissa Fowler

Director of the Center for Academic Advising and Student Support, New Mexico State University

Marissa has worked at NMSU for 15 years in the areas of academic advising, transfer advising, enrollment management, admissions, orientation, peer mentorship, and she runs a stop-out recovery scholarship program helping NMSU seniors return and complete their degrees. She also loves teaching for NMSU’s Educational Leadership program. She firmly believes in the NACADA principle that academic advising is teaching and is continuously amazed by the power of advising and advisors.

Dr. Gabe Garcia

Assistant Dean of Student Success & Department Head of Engineering Technology and Surveying Engineering, New Mexico State University

Garcia has dedicated more than 35 years to NMSU as a student, educator, and administrator. He has been recognized for his leadership and commitment to student success, receiving the prestigious National Science Foundation CAREER Award for his research. His impact spans across multiple roles, including director of the Aggie Innovation Space, director of the interdisciplinary Capstone Design Program, and a driving force behind the college’s state-of-the-art manufacturing and innovation facilities.

John Callahan

Data & AI Solution Specialist, US Education, Microsoft

John has nearly a decade of experience in higher education within a 20+ year career. Before joining Microsoft, John spent over 15 years at SAS, a data and AI company, where he served as a data and BI systems engineer, supporting education, healthcare, and various commercial industries. Over the past two years, he has focused on the emergence of Generative AI and GenAI data analytics and its adoption in higher education, exploring applications such as AI tutors, advisors, teaching assistants, and more.

Varsha Singh

Principal, Education Solutions, Nagarro

Varsha has over a decade of experience partnering with public sector agencies and educational institutions to tackle complex technology transformation challenges. As a certified Enterprise Design Thinking Co-Creator, she has implemented strategies for technology incubation programs in collaboration with universities. At Nagarro, Varsha leads AI adoption consulting across public education systems nationwide. Varsha is also a nonprofit advisor and a sought-after speaker at AI Innovation Summits and public sector forums, where she shares insights on digital transformation.

Yisrael Glassberg

Associate Director, Nagarro

Yisrael is a former educator and IT professional dedicated to innovation in education. With a Master’s in Education from Johns Hopkins and certifications in PMP, ITIL, and SAFe, he combines project management and agile expertise to drive change. Formerly Director of Alumni Relations for an education nonprofit, Yisrael also taught business ethics in Silver Spring, MD. At NYC Public Schools, he worked on digital services like chatbots, content systems, and AI initiatives, showcasing tools like tutor bots.
