Coop Denmark extends its contract with Nagarro as a strategic supplier for their SAP S/4HANA infrastructure and platform management services

November 07, 2023 – Nagarro and Coop Denmark have been strategic partners for five years and collaborated on infrastructure and platform management services. Due to this strong partnership, Coop has extended the contract for five years.

In 2017, Coop Denmark launched a transformation program to retire multiple IT systems and implement a new retail platform based on SAP S/4HANA to cover critical daily operations and logistics processes. This transformation optimizes end-to-end business processes and enables Coop Denmark to drive future innovations and create better customer experiences within the Danish retail industry. To achieve these ambitious goals, Coop Denmark needed a partner who could deliver world-class operational performance and stability and provide proactive and technical guidance to optimize the SAP environment continuously. After five years of delivering excellent outcomes, Coop will continue to build on the partnership with Nagarro.

The Coop SAP S/4HANA landscape has been productive since November 2019 with the initial Go-Live and has run smoothly. Nagarro is a key partner in running the operational landscape and technical project support and providing the required systems for the project teams. Additionally, Nagarro was essential in maintaining and updating the whole project setup to ensure an agile and parallel development methodology and a precise testing approach.
