Hitachi Astemo (HA) is a leading mobility services company that is using technological innovation to steer the shift towards autonomous vehicles.
The client conceptualized a data management platform to identify data intelligence by using in-vehicle sensors, CAN data, edge processors, artificial intelligence, and cloud-enabled services. This information is then shared across the partner network.
HA sees the application as a stepping-stone to autonomous vehicle services and approached Nagarro to develop this platform. The intelligent vehicular data platform captures and shares data intelligence with all connected vehicles to ensure better navigation, and safety. It can also be monetized by partners (Telematics service providers) in domains like weather, road navigation, and insurance.
What did we do? In the first phase of the project, we built an application that gathers and distributes rule-based information on weather, potholes, and debris. In the second phase, the client envisioned a connected services use case with accident reconstruction capability. Our team of expert Nagarrians applied our Thinking Breakthroughs framework and tuned the client’s idea into a use case, which will further enhance the partner and subscriber experience.
