the challenge
Migrating over 50 systems from itel’s enterprise infrastructure to the Azure cloud posed a significant challenge. It was important to deliver the system with quality within a limited timeframe. Each application possessed its unique characteristics and dependencies. Co-ordinating efforts across the different teams and stakeholders amplified the complexity.

the solution
Initially, we tested the system across development, QA, and staging environments. After the system-level criteria were met, we began with integration testing in QA and staging. By the end of the month, 40% of system-level testing in Dev was complete, uncovering 15 defects. The team recommended automation alongside manual testing, achieving 33% automation coverage within three weeks, streamlining processes, and expediting testing cycles.

the outcome
We completed testing on 50+ systems and conducted Integration testing across Dev, QA, Staging, and production release. Over 90% of systems were automated, which significantly reduced manual tasks. We also integrated automation scripts into the Azure pipeline and reviewed itel's mobile and desktop application test automation framework for stability improvements. We executed 2000+ test cases, logged 255+ test executions, identified nearly 300 bugs, and automated 30 systems within 5 months.
I would like to extend my appreciation for Nagarro’s amazing work during itel’s Cloud Migration project. Every single team member has shown dedication and assurance to see the project succeed. Together, we've executed nearly 2k test cases, found and resolved almost 300 bugs, and automated about 30 systems. I have never worked with a partnering company/QA team before with such professionalism and kindness, it has truly been a pleasure.
