Scaling up due to exponentially growing data was a challenge due to limited server capacity that resulted in instability. The complexity of historical data increased drastically. Additionally, poor real-time data load balancing and limited monitoring dashboards tools created hindrances in the operational systems.

Nagarro experts suggested a Big Data Lake infrastructure in Azure with a dedicated DevOps team in collaboration with the project team. A central DevOps team was responsible for supporting and enabling the project teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. Our experts used the Synapse Workspace components to build the data warehouse infrastructure. The infrastructure could be rolled out fully automatically in other Azure regions at the "push of a button."

The modernization allows easier data storage using Azure and Cloud features. Efficient and real-time data processing is possible with data pipelines in the Azure Data Factory. A virtual network concept with corresponding subnets ensures the system is accessed by authorized resources or groups only. The centralized data allows continuous monitoring and multiple report generation.
