About the client

Prinsotel is a hotel chain based in Mallorca, Spain, and manages five leisure tourism properties. With over 50 years of guest service, Prinsotel promises to offer much more than just accommodation. Their primary focus is on the guest experience to provide the best possible service. Prinsotel has an impressive track record of excellence in service, and its properties boast scenic locations, luxury, and comfort.

Business needs and goals

Growing businesses should use their data to enhance their processes further. Prinsotel was looking to take advantage of real-time information from its incoming data, improve revenue management efficacy, and, at the same time, keep complete control of its operational data. The decision was made to change the existing property management system (PMS) to allow the business to streamline operations and manage diverse revenue sources in the properties, such as the spa, pool bar, and restaurant. In order to leverage the new PMS information (on bookings, cancellations, accommodation inventory, ancillary sales, etc.) and make it actionable for revenue management in a more efficient, real-time manner, the existing data had to be transformed.

The solution

Nagarro built a Corporate Information Factory (CIF) on the cloud and integrated it with SIHOT, the PMS chosen to be the single source of operational truth. The CIF is source-independent, uses real-time architecture, and is robust, scalable, secure, and monitored. The new system provides a solid foundation for the hotel chain to benefit from data analytics and business intelligence, as well as machine learning and artificial intelligence tools. Also, the combination of the CIF platform with SIHOT PMS provides a complete revenue management solution for the business.
