the challenge

As the first application in the client’s overall digital transformation journey, the expectations from the existing platform were high. The client wanted a seamless user experience and high engagement.

They sought a UI/UX that ensured high adoption rates, control over the platform content, profile-based personalization of content and concierge services, and unified content across platforms/web pages. There was also a need to increase platform accessibility by eliminating intermittent technical glitches.

the solution

Nagarro proposed Sitecore and Microservices architecture as a solution and designed a progressive web-based application. We built a highly personalized portal that displays personalized content to every doctor on the platform.

Our team automated the content check-in process to allow rendering the content in multiple applications once approved.

It allows visualization of various content pieces (guidelines summaries, journal articles, research papers, online CME videos, and news articles) in the form of infographics, text, and videos, enhancing the user experience.

The new platform has a history feature that lets the user pick from where they left off.  It also has a notifications feature that sends alerts on the latest content and on the events of users’ interest.

We also built an Azure platform service to host various infrastructure components, Azure AD to manage the identity and the authentication, and headless architecture using Single Page Application.

the outcome

The platform received positive feedback from medical practitioners who praised the application design and the user interface.
They appreciated how the centralized platform substantially increased the ease of accessing personalized content, including news, journals, and whitepapers from a centralized platform tailored to their area of specialty.

A user-friendly and responsive application enriched the UI and improved the ease of access and user adaptability. It allowed a smooth user experience regarding content access and navigation and gave the client complete control and ownership of content curation and publishing.

Unified and personalized content ensured better client and medical fraternity engagement. The platform also enabled increased awareness of client products to doctors through promotional banners and videos.
