The EMEA business division previously worked autonomously with different accounting and business management systems. The client aimed for higher consistency in business processes and wanted to upgrade the maintenance systems in some countries. The goal of the implementation project was to harmonize the core business processes in the respective countries while maintaining the ability to react flexibly to local market and customer requirements.

The team decided to introduce SAP S/4HANA into the cloud and implement the SAP integration suite (SAP Business Technology Platform). We focused on finance & controlling, materials management, sales & professional services, interface development, provisions, and consolidation & reporting systems.  The implementation involved optimizing the project based on customer experience and focusing on effective and efficient project implementation through standardized templates. The process mining tool Signavio was utilized to optimize business processes.

The implementation led to a 20% decrease in overhead costs. The client witnessed lower process costs and shorter runtimes. Process automation freed resources, and standardization simplified the workflows. The company management can now completely focus on strategic organizational and business development. With just a few clicks, the division managers and property managers can handle their orders and report directly via the ERP system. The solution has centralized all the purchasing-related processes.
