DevSecOps over AWS Cloud

The client’s main requirements were to ensure monitoring of environment from security threats, protection of sensitive data, reduction in malicious attacks. Another key objective was to maintain regulatory compliance and ensure regular updates.

Nagarro helped in significantly reducing malicious attacks on the environment by implementing an Intrusion Detection system. Our solution also helped in governance at networking, infrastructure, monitoring & application levels. The system provided Authentication & authorization via SSO across 140 AWS accounts. It scanned over 280 repositories with more than 200 images each.

The DevSecOps implementation over the proposed reimagined architecture helped the client achieve quick, tangible benefits. Not even one malicious attack has been reported in the last 3 years. We implemented intrusion detection & prevention systems, which minimized the number of generated false positives. We provided centralized networking for better visibility & control. Early detection of vulnerabilities in code was another major benefit, along with monitoring of data in transit to and from cloud applications. Our solution reduced billing by almost $1 lakh every month.
