Unified, transparent financial management for AHF

AHF has always aimed at providing full transparency into their finances on top of streamlining major processes to improve efficiency internally. However, the organization was constantly struggling with non-transparent finances and inefficient processes due to fragmented systems and lack of real-time data.

Also, the organization was spread across the globe and expanding rapidly which led to the need for complete visibility of all finances. Having outgrown their fragmented landscape, which was built over the years, they were ready to upgrade their IT infrastructure and utilize a unified structure for finance, procure-to-pay, and grants management.

SAP introduced GROW with SAP (S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition) as the core finance tool alongside SAP’s integration suite Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass, and SAP Analytics Cloud to integrate all processes into AHF’s financial core.

Nagarro’s team implemented the public sector version of GROW with SAP (S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition) as the core finance tool alongside SAP’s Business Technology Platform (BTP) for seamless integration, SAP Ariba for procurement, SAP Fieldglass for external workforce management, and SAP Analytics Cloud for real-time insights. Within just six months, integration was done for 24 domestic legal entities and 65 global legal entities in group reporting, as well as nine third-party systems. A total of 993 profit centers and 166 plants were depicted.

This led to a highly connected and intelligent enterprise ecosystem that streamlined financial operations, enhanced procurement efficiency, optimized workforce management, and enabled data-driven decision-making. With BTP’s connectivity, data now flows seamlessly across all systems, reducing manual efforts and improving accuracy. The outcome is greater operational agility, cost savings, compliance adherence, and enhanced financial visibility, empowering the organization to scale efficiently (with regular updates and new features) while maintaining control over spend and resources.

Additionally, the upgrade has amplified the security setup, simplified maintenance, enhanced performance and analytics, eliminated the need for separate reporting tools and data warehouses, and improved user experience with personalized workspaces and dashboards in S/4HANA.
